Having chaotic skin is irritating, to your face, to your social life and to your self esteem. I totally understand. When I was younger, I am 53 yrs young now, I had chaotic skin. From blackheads, to pimples to just crazy skin flair ups.
When I was in my 20's I discovered walnut shell powder and started making my own face scrub, as the years went by, I added ingredients, to help soften my skin, and treat any nasty bacteria that may be lurking on my surface skin cells.
As an aromatherapist, I KNOW, the importance of diffusing, and so do the majority of my followers. But what some essential oil diffusing fanatics, like me, need, is a new twist on diffusing.
Forget the mass social media mentality that oils "do something" for you, your body or your mind, and just diffuse because they smell amazing, are good for the environment, and it is FUN.
Essential Oils ARE NOT miracle workers, and DO NOT CURE diseases. But WHAT THEY DO, do, is smell amazing. Finding your own " diffuser blend style" is just part of the fun and innovative way to benefit from essential oils, all while not depleting these precious commodities, or your pocketbook. You don't need 65 essential oils, just your favorites!
Why Exfoliate your body?
Skin needs to be exfoliated. As we age, the rate of skin cell turnover slows down, meaning the body takes longer to shed old skin. Yuck right? Recent studies have shown that it takes 40-60 days for skin cells to be completely regenerated in mature adults and the production of collagen - a crucial protein to skin's firmness and elasticity decreases with age, resulting in a structurally weakened skin.
I launched my own skin care business officially in 2013, at the age of 47 yrs young. Received my Certification in Aromatherapy shortly there after and have continued my Clinical Aromatherapy education in the Integrative Healing Practices field and Organic Cosmetic Science. I am married, have one son and two stepchildren and live in a small town in the Texas Panhandle.
